村上陽一教授らがMaterials Horizons Outstanding Paper Runner-up Awardを受賞

融合理工学系・ゼロカーボンエネルギー研究所 村上陽一教授（地球環境共創コース 主担当）らがMaterials Horizons Outstanding Paper Runner-up Awardの受賞者に選出されました。

• Materials Horizons Outstanding Paper Award｜ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY（2022年5月4日発表）

これは、同誌から2021年に出版された約250報の原著論文の中から同誌の編集委員会が選出した賞であり、村上教授らが昨年12月にMaterials Horizons 誌（Royal Society of Chemistry, IF: 13.266）に出版した論文（DOI: 10.1039/D1MH01542G）が対象となりました。”Runner-up”は次点の意味ですが、Editorial記事 （PDF）の冒頭に” The quality of the articles we published throughout 2021 was excellent, and therefore we have chosen to award not only our most Outstanding Paper, but also a runner-up and an Outstanding Review for 2021”とあるように、同誌の上位1 %以内の高クオリティ論文として評価を受けました。

受賞対象の成果は民間企業と共同して開発した技術であり（日産自動車ニュースリリース、日本経済新聞電子版）、人工光合成を始めとした光エネルギー利用系の高効率化に幅広く貢献しうる光変換の基盤技術です。
