Research plan presentation by Master and Doctoral students were held on June 2, 2021, and 3 students were selected as excellent presenters. These 3 winners were commended on June 2021 as shown below. Previous research plan presentations had took place in the form of a poster presentation, but the latest one was held online due to COVID-19. They have been held as a part of the Master’s and Doctoral research in Department of Information and Communication Engineering. Master students are recommended to make the presentation after 6 months of their admission and they are required to have the presentation by finishing their courses. The aims of this event are to acquire presentation skills as well as to make their research plan by understanding their own research’s value. The presentations are voted by professors in the course, and the Master students who made the excellent presentations are awarded. Doctoral students are recommended to make the presentation as well, though it is not mandatory.

The awarded Master students are the following 3 students:

  • Prize Winner:
    Mr. SUN Hongyu(Suzuki Lab.)
    Title:
Noise Reduction of STEM Images and Analysis of Atom Dynamics by Using MTANN and Image Analysis
  • Prize Winner:
    Mr. Liu Yuchen(Fukawa Lab.)
    Title:
Interference Management Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)for MIMO Wireless Networks
  • Prize Winner:
    Mr. ZOU Yangzhenchuan(Kumazawa Lab.)
    Title:
Anomaly Detection in Electrical Infrastructure Using Segmentation-assisted Stereo Depth Estimation Network
