Former Nagai Laboratory Doctoral Student Minwoo Son and A/Prof Nagai Receive Paper Award from the Color Science Association of Japan

Minwoo Son, who completed his doctoral studies at the Nagai Laboratory last academic year, and Associate Professor Takehiro Nagai have received a Paper Award from the Color Science Association of Japan.

The award-winning paper is as follows:
Minwoo Son and Takehiro Nagai:“Luminance and chromaticity discrimination sensitivities right after an abrupt decrease in background luminance.”Color Research & Application, 50(1), 25–35, 2025.

This award is presented to the authors of the most outstanding original paper published during the previous year up to December of the relevant academic year in the Journal of the Color Science Association of Japan, Color Research & Application, or the Journal of the International Colour Association.
