Achieved a breakthrough improvement in the error correction performance of quantum LDPC codes
Mr. Daiki Komoto, a master's student (supervised by Associate Professor Kenta Kasai), received the Student Presentation Award at the 51st Quantum Information Technology Symposium (QIT51).
The title of his presentation was "Construction of CSS Codes based on Saptially Coupled Non-Binary QC-LDPC Codes with Minimum Cycle Length 12". His work was highly evaluated as a significant contribution demonstrating the potential to dramatically enhance the performance of quantum LDPC codes.
