Introduction of the School of Life Science and Technology Research Fellow Program

The School of Life Science and Technology is introducing a new research fellow program for doctoral students and will receive applications from those wishing to join the program.

Doctoral students who meet certain criteria will, if approved by the School, be eligible for compensation for work related to research and research support activities (¥840,000 per year). By retaining selected doctoral students as research fellows, this program aims to provide students with financial support and occasions to increase engagement with the School and to further develop their research skills. Participating students will also be able to note their involvement in the program on business cards and CVs.
