Ayumi Amano and Mana Higaki (Inoue Sakaguchi lab, master's course 2nd) received the Best Presentation Award at Symposium on Strength of Materials at High Temperatures (7th - 9th December 2017, Kumamoto) of the Society of Materials Science, Japan. The papers' titles are "Quenching stress developed in solidification and adhesion process of paraffin coating with cracking and debonding" and "Crystal plasticity fracture mechanics parameters for fatigue crack propagation in Ni-base superalloys under lower and intermediate temperatures".
