Concept presentation was hold and 8 master students were awarded

The awards ceremony was held in a lounge located in Suzukake hole in Suzukake-dai campus. From the left to the right in the photo: Mr. Youki Sada, Mr. Kaito Umetsu, Mr. Shota Tsuji, Mr. Yunosuke Nakayama, Prof. Masahiro Yamaguchi, Mr. Hiroki Nousou, Mr. Patrick Manuel Hidringer, and Ms. Ye Xu.

Concept presentation by Master and Doctoral students were held on Nov 27, 2018, and 6 students were selected as excellent presenters. The 6 winners were commended at an awards ceremony together with 2 other winners of the previous concept presentation held on June 6, 2018. The concept presentation takes place in the form of a poster presentation and has been held as a part of Master’s and Doctoral research in Department of Information and Communication Engineering. Master students are recommended to make the presentation at after six months of their admission and they are required to have the presentation by finishing their courses. The aims of this event are to acquire presentation skills as well as to make their research plan understanding their own research. A vote on the presentations is held by professors in the course, and the Master students who make the excellent presentations are awarded. Doctoral students are recommended to make the presentation as well, though it is not mandatory.

The awarded Master students are following 8 students in total: Mr. Youki Sada (Nakahara Lab.), Mr. Yuta Yasuda (Nakamoto Lab.), Mr. Hiroki Nousou (Yamada Lab.), Mr. Kaito Umetsu (Yoshimura Lab.), Mr. Yunosuke Nakayama (Yamada Lab.), Mr. Shota Tsuji (Yoshimura Lab.), Ms. Ye Xu(Okumura Lab.), and Mr. Patrick Manuel Hidringer(Kumazawa Lab.)
