Joint research of Yamaguchi lab and NTT DOCOMO, INC. received IDW'17 Best Paper Award. IDW'17 is the international conference on display technologies. The title of the paper is "HOE-Based Screen for Virtual-Image Projection and Scene Capture". In the paper, the simultaneous realization of virtual-image projection and image capture by the optical system exploiting a holographic screen is demonstrated.
