This research is a joint study by Wataru Hidaka (M.S., 2020), former assistant professor Naoshi Ikeda (now associate professor at Nihon University), and professor Kotaro Inoue of Department of Industrial Engineering and Economics, School of Engineering.
The paper detects the positive effect of engagement between several major Japanese institutional investors and the investee companies on the management of the investee companies.
The paper received the Best Paper Award among approximately 60 papers reported at The 2022 JFA-PBFJ Special Issue Conference for its detailed analyses using unprecedented data.
