Annual meeting of the alumni association of Industrial Engineering and Economics was held.

The annual meeting of the alumni association of Industrial Engineering and Economics "KEIYUKAI" was held on 15th June, 2019. In the meeting, more than 40 senior and junior almuni and students gathered. Starting with reports of activities in 2018, the action plans for 2019 were approved.

After the meeting, a keynote speech entitled "Changes in Marketing and New Market Creation -Potentials of talents with the sense of Industrial Engineering-" was given by Tsunehiro Fukushima, who graduated from Tokyo Tech (1980, BS and 1982, MS) and currently is the corporate senior officer of transcosmos inc. Mr. Fukushima explained drastic changes found in marketing and showed the perspectives for new market creation, which inspired all audience greatly. His talk indicated potentials of graduates majoring in Industrial Engineering and Economics.

Immediately after Mr. Fukushima's talk, a networking party took place in which a few new junior alumni joined. In the party, participants ranged from 20's to 80's talked with each other, and had a great fun.

"KEIYUKAI" will keep its close relations with the Department of Industrial Engineering and Economics, and will continue stimulating interactions among alumni, faculty members and students.
