Assistant Professor Wataru Umishio was awarded the Housing Foundation Prize for Doctoral Thesis 2021 by the JUSOKEN* for
his doctoral thesis entitled "Intervention Study of Home Insulation Retrofit and Blood Pressure for the Prevention of
Cardiovascular Diseases."
The prize ceremony and the commemorative lecture meeting will take place on July 1 at Online(Zoom).

※JUSOKEN is a foundation established in 1948 by the former President of Shimizu Corporation, Yasuo Shimizu, to solve the
difficult housing problems after the war. Currently, they are working to promote comprehensive research/practice and human resource development, and to contribute
to the improvement of housing life by returning the results to society.
