Tenure-Track System, Tokyo Institute of Technology
Tokyo Tech has implemented tenure-track system since 2006.
The main objective of this system is to recruit and retain outstanding scientists by offering them a clear career path. In the longer term, successful tenure-track faculty will progress to the key positions within Tokyo Tech through fair and transparent evaluation process.
