Assistant Professor Wataru Umishio participated in the dialogue with Minister Suematsu of MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) on April 8.

8 of the 511 FOREST (Fusion Oriented REsearch for disruptive Science and Technology) researchers* visited the office of MEXT and talked with Minister Suematsu.

After explaining objectives and concepts of his research "Challenge to predictive medicine of hypertension by elucidating and modeling cold debt," they exchanged opinions with the Minister on the current situation of Japanese universities and future requests to the MEXT.
