I am very honored to receive the EMCJ Young Engineer Award. Nishikata Laboratory is conducting research on Van Atta array, which are compact and thin retroreflector in radio band. This study aims to detect Van Atta array in wider angular range and at farther distance on radar. This award was due to the fact that we achieved this purpose by using a method that makes the directivity of each individual antenna element wider. I would like to thank Associate Prof. Nishikata and all the people who have been involved with me for this prestigious award.
